The Uintah Transportation Special Service District (UTSSD) develops transportation solutions for Uintah County. We plan, facilitate, and build transportation projects through partnerships with the State of Utah, local governments and the private sector. From roadways to bike trails, bridges to airport facilities, we strive to create safe and environmentally-sensitive transportation facilities that promote prosperity in our growing region.

UTSSD, in partnership with the County, will advance expansion of the Vernal County airport—already the largest airport in the Northeastern Utah area—to enhance economic activity in the Uintah Basin.
